No Present like the Time

Each second does pass,

Right now is just a second away from the past,

The present does only exist,

For the second it does take to say the word,

The past is always there, the future but a solitary whiff…

Once we do write a word,

It does fly away like a bird,

To the past where it may last,

Something we can say then that it already occurred,

We may then think we heard,

But in reality, in our memory it is all but blurred…

Each moment that does tick away,

Is another where we can ultimately pay,

Our dues to a higher being that may,

Allow us yet another moment in time to play,

As a moment in time to the gods,

Is but a fleeting micro-second,

They do use therein a feather them to us to beckon…

Fantastic! The title, the words that weave around, becoming implanted in the mind... this is, for me, one of your best, Ed. It's thoughtful and entirely accessible to the reader's experiences, yet it's uniquely yours. I'm babbling... I do that when I have trouble capturing all I'm thinking. I FELT this one. katy xox. p.s. Again, that title is perfect!

Well you wrote a poem on what we talked about today in Sunday School class. What is time to God? A thousand years shall pass in a second.

Every minute of life is a gift, Ed. It is up to us to make the most of them or waste them away. We are all given a certain amount and none of us is sure when they will run out. Happy New Year!
Take care,
Sherry

:) Keep living those moments, Ed. We all have dues to pay to our Creator(s), and ourselves. It is the wise person who sees this fact, and acts upon its concept.

In Search of Truth and Freedom; A Path from Ignorance to Awareness by Dietmar Rothe

A scientist/philosopher explores the mysteries of existence in a highly personal quest for answers to life's ultimate questions, forging a bridge between sterile science and spiritual values -- a scholarly work for all who seek wisdom, truth, true fr

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.

Transcendental Sojourn-Arrival to One Journal by Liz Cosline

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
