"You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom. "
Malcolm X

Freedom Lost…

Not something to take lightly,

Though most do take it for granted,

In each country, especially those that have less democracy,

Freedom needs to have its seed planted…

If our country is free,

Why are we not allowed to just be,

To be ourselves, to be what we want,

To live our lives without big brother watching, you know you see…!

Yes freedom is a precious gem,

Not to be given or taken slightly,

Big Brother does our music condemn,

We cannot allow this to happen,

This needs to be nipped in the stem…

Freedom of speech was one of our constitutions first laws,

Is not music a part of this freedom,

Rap may speak of being a criminal,

Rock may speak in tongues,

We cannot allow to start here today,

The religious “right” to try to show that music has flaws…

For even the belief in God is flawed,

Eventually we may see that that belief is a fraud,

Would it be better to live somewhere abroad,

Better for me to go where it is that I can get thawed…

Freedom Found…

"Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility. "
Sigmund Freud

You're coming in loud and clear, Eddie M... this is multi-layered, far-reaching and directly addresses the very pulse of what this country ONCE stood for... I fear we are in a time that allows the constitution to be rewritten, and we will be the losers. It has already begun... America needs to wake up! Great rant, my dear. katy xox

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
