Mellow Today was my Mood…

My mood today was as previously stated; mellow,

Not sad or blue was I, I must admit,

Not angry or red did I feel, I did not feel like shit,

Nor happy with a smiley face all in yellow…

Just kind of mellow,

I was being a nice sort of fellow,

No argument did I start,

Nor did I in one take part,

I just stayed to myself,

Except for my friend and lil’ writers elf…

So again just mellow was I,

No tears in my eye,

No reason to cry,

Just sat around and did sigh…

So if asked today if I felt better than yesterday,

I would have to respond with a resounding affirmative,

Yes I surely would have to tell it like it is and answer in the positive,

But what made me feel so much better today than one day prior,

Since I do not know and I did answer, I would be doing so as a liar…
