Thanks Ed Kostro for the inspiration herein about my friend the moon...
My friend from last night spoke volumes… He did tell me more maybe than I wanted to know, But his stories did have such a continuous flow, Some things he did say I will keep to myself, I find that that may be only right, yes quite apropos… He did speak of those I do not have knowledge of, But I did learn a lot from past and present, So many thousands of years he has had to learn, Information and knowledge he will forever yearn… Just over my right shoulder he did stay late last night, He told me how the world was mostly wrong, but some was right, Children are still children till mass media they do meet, War, starvation, pestilence, and hunger, are mans blight, He does doubt, or so he believes, that man will ever see the light, He stated he is quite happy to stay a visitor of the earth, But only, if he can help it, during the night… © ed ~ 3/31/05

it seems funny my friend that, at least in the old cowbo movies, the injun's seemed to measure time not by "days but by nights. "it was many moons ago, when the white man came to our land...", etc, etc, etc. something about the night that i really like. it's peaceful. especially really late (or early). the world seems at rest. me too.
