Of sorts...

Turning a Different Corner…

Of late my writing has taken on of itself, an age,

It has seemed to me that I have come upon a new page,

I think we all learn of course as time slips by,

But everything in general of late seems to bring to me rage…

I used to at one time write with a briskness of a fleeting cloud,

But of late I find myself living with one or two a day,

Not that those one or two are not worth it, they make me proud,

Just that now when in my life things seem to be going my way,

I find no time, nor inclination to write as I once did,

This does bring on in me a certain sorrow…

But hopefully on the morrow,

Things will change; my muse and such will start again to work overtime,

Rather than just my body doing the overtime,

And over time I may see within, the same spark that I had in the past,

Then back into the saddle of the write I will eventually climb…

Not to fear, Ed. We all seem to have a number of large distractions lately. I feel it, my friends feel it, you feel it. I have no answer, yet I believe there is an answer, and someone will write about, and the theme will be piced up by all us. Henry
