My Daddy…by RUFUZ

Thunder I really hate,

The sudden flash of lightening,

I truly find most frightening,

I am up on Daddy’s bed,

Under his covers I hide my head…

Dad’s at work, not here to me protect,

I shudder to think,

How these storms will me in future affect,

Please God bring daddy safely home,

So no longer will I be here all alone…

He tries to protect me; he really does,

He seems to love me and all my fuzz,

Even when I am less than good,

Dad does for me whatever he should,

Please again God bring him as soon as you could…
