Solitudinarian

Solitudinarian…

Reclusive to a fault,

Seeking only solitude,

A state of social self-isolation,

A disposition towards living life alone…

Seeing only those that I wish,

Wishing I did like to eat fish,

Catch them and throw them back,

The last fish I caught told me his name was Jack…

Living alone, writing in solitary self-confinement,

Hiding from the outside world, mayhaps my thoughts need realignment,

But for me I am quite happy with my self-made solace,

Others may find quietude to be quite rude,

Sometimes though I notice I am becoming quite unglued…

I am right there with you on this
Oh Um I guess I should not ssay that because that would mean you are not alone. and that would disturb the balance you have created
Ok nevermind I have no idea what it is like being alone. so rest easy

I have to go now, the doorbell rang and I have to hid behind the couch so no one thinks Im home

I reallylike this one Ed. Great word solitudinarian!Fits me to a T. and guess what many poets are in this same category, because we choose to be. So don't feel left out, you are right in the midst of a group of solitudinarians;-)If you really feel the need to roam, by all means get it out of your system, take Rufuz for a walk;-)hehehe
Have a good night, I'm off to sleep.

Even a recluse needs social action from time to time. I tend to be a hermit myself, when I feel the "Unglued" feeling I know it is time to go out and say hello to my friends :-)
