Still do I miss my departed soul,

Wish something I had gotten for the sale,

Just seems as if someone has just it stole,

I feel an empty space inside & less than whole…

I hope it is helping someone else,

Bringing humor to a depressed being,

Allowing another to continue with life seeing,

When I did allow its usage,

That is what ”they” were guaranteeing…

I hope a new home it has found,

One with room so it can abound,

I hope its new owner is quite profound,

Even though if it found its way to the dog pound…

My soul yes it is missed,

Hopefully though it is not pissed,

I thought to relinquish its bond,

Would bring happiness to someone,

Maybe it has become a member of the beau monde…

Nonsense! Balderdash! Phooey!

One need only read your poetry to know that you have a sparkling, marvelous, human soul, Eddie M... fit for a king, but, happily, housed by a noble! (That would be you, of course.)

Ed, your soul has never left you, my gifted friend. Only you have and do posses the unique humor, talent, fortitude and thorough understanding, which very often allows many to find the needed solace during these trying times. Thank you for sharing your excellent work. Take good care and be well. Peace thru hanging on to your soul.

Ed you can ignore your soul, but it never ignores you. As this contemplative poem proves! Why not seek it's guidance, it's in the process of "dying to help you";-)

Ruffies aunt;-)Give Ed a wake up nip, Ruf!

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
