Hey what kind of dump is this, there is NO category for fishing...?

Poem Artwork

Out for a day long run,

To fish for stripers or flounder,

And have some fun,

Praying to the ocean gods in this rough sea we don’t flounder…

Fishing is its own Zen,

Been enjoying it since ten,

I don’t get out nearly enough,

‘Specially in the ocean when it is really rough…

A true meditative practice,

Alone against the sea,

To be one with the ocean,

Me against the fish,

To catch him & return him to his domain,

Never as far as I am concerned, will it make it to a dish…

Loved this one! And fishing should be sports (:-)). Wish we could have some fun like that too!

There was a time about all I did was fish; but I think it was just the excuse I used to get out into Nature; it truly is very Zen like.

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
