What is it about the wee hours of the morning that I can wax philosophical with so much ease...e

I may not be smart enough, My reviews may be quite rough, I calls em’ as I see’s em’, A lot of them are right off the cuff… I realize that some of the problem is the herb, It gives me a high, but takes away the superb, This does of me actually disturb, But what the hell, I am past turning back, I cannot get back what my brain does now lack… I try to imagine how it is to be intelligent, I try to be as much as I can a gent, I leave for others some semblance of my humor, Not being smart enough, for me, I’m afraid, Is more than just an everyday rumor… © ed ~ 10/2/06

The brain is a vast network of mystery. Mine is blonde at times, Mother Teresa at times and Cleopatra at times...then there's Scarlett...Mae West...I could go on and on. What you are Ed is funny, friendly, Renee's beau and Ruffy's Pop and great and respected peer to all of us here at the Den.

I don't think that "herb" ever had any lasting, damaging effects on my intellect, but it did send my mind off on some interesting philosophic juants. I used to refer to these moments as "clarity that fades to indifference." I highly doubt that you lack intelligence and your humor brings a smile to my face whenever I stop by your den.
