Life for me has been like others, tough, Prison, living on the streets, rough, Drugs, alcohol, loss of faith, enough, A grouch I have been, quite regularly, gruff� Picked on in school days, Treated in many bad ways, Did this all make me as I am today, Does my humor hide the real me, no way� Prescriptions to keep me mellow and alive, Not able to do much but drive, To my 52^nd year I did finally arrive, I may not at the moment thrive, But all in all I did through life survive� � ed ~ 10/3/06
