Car washed,

Haircut done,

Lawn cut,

Too hot to do much in the sun…

Fans blowing,

Wind billowing,

Rufuz cooling,

Good day for a tanning…

Predicted storms,

Low chance,

Need rain,

Better chance on the ‘morrow…

Damn, smoke got in my eyes and I feel like sitting on the roof.
Rufuz, your tail should watch my rocking chair.

Ed,

Rain's on the way. :) Then you'll be complaining, "It's too wet!" LOL Like me, never satisfied. Still and all, an excellent glimpse into the life of Ed and Rufuz. :) Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, StormSpinner. :)

I think I've been where you were at. You've captured a normal moment and made it into poetry. Great work.

This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given day.
