It's hard to take, especially when undeserved. Glad that you could write about it -- takes the edge off. All we can do is dust ourselves off, get up, and try again.
Denial isn't nice at all, and looked for things to get are denied often. You have Rufuz which is more than I have and a wife which is still more than I have. I lost both within a year of each other. Be happy with what you got, maybe you do not need the loan right now after all. You have many friends on the den too who sympathize with you on this matter.
Bad days, those 13ths...or didn't you notice! Help for a day or two, you might check under the cushions. As Richard says, happens...but words don't make it any easier...

Sounds to me Ed that you have the main things in life by your side, A faithful dog and a loving wife, a lucky man you are. However I hate it when they send you a letter saying you have been approved for XXXXX and when you go for it they say you are denied, whats with this. Things will get brighter.
