I have to write of it as it gets it out, but you don't have to review, I am sure you are getting tired of hearing me whine, I know I am...Ed

Poem Artwork

Keeps me inside,

Don’t answer the phone,

Still got a home,

Nowhere anyway to roam…

Applied to jobs so many can’t count,

Trying to keep a few bucks in my bank account,

Going no place to keep a full tank,

Still need one day at the beach, the ocean to thank…

No matter the anti-depressant pills,

Still certain days are worse than others,

I’ve got more than some I guess,

Crying doesn’t help, screaming either,

Just accepting the inevitable the way to go,

Still of lifelong depression at times I do well know…

We are here to show we care Ed, if you can't turn to your family who can you turn to. We do all go through this Ed, believe me you are not alone, I am sure things will turn around for you. Keep believing.

Depression hits everyone...sometimes harder than others...but nonetheless, no one escapes!! Writing about this is very good for you, and it is good for those of us who enjoy your work!!! Keep your head high, and keep on trying...there are so many who walk in your shoes, and times are simply devastating to so many....You are a wonderful person, and things will work out...That great job, extra work, and good things will happen very soon... We care too. lindalaw

Keep writing about it. You maintain your art in the midst of it and that is a triumph.

ED - is it possible that something from your PAST - that you have not addressed fully, is causing this depression, and/or anxiety attacks?

are you a veteran?

if so, did you see action?

what - where - why - when - who - how?

ADDRESS IT -

I ain't no shrink, but methinks the JERSEY DEVIL needs transpose himself into the JERSEY ANGEL -

Do some kindness to someone more needy - it is a WIN-WIN situation, according to Dr. Wayne Dwyer - both the recipient and the donor experience a release of endomorphins, which cause a feeling of HAPPINESS - even an observer gets it too!

take 2 ASS-BURNS & call me in the mornin' ... tk

You are ever in my prayers; please don't give up hope! I know you don't believe in God, but maybe that's what you need! It's worth a shot! :) I will pray for you and will have others do the same for you; prayer works! I know!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

Depression does hurt; I've been there; stlll get there sometimse; that's why I write. :)

Ed the fact that you know how it effects you is
good! You have the right to whine and write out
your feelings, as you said, we don't have to read
it. We have a choice!So don't apologize, it's bad
enough being depressed without feeling guilty!;-)
Rufuz, give dad a hug and a kiss!

Love,
et

Yes, my friend depressions the pits. Been there done that...didn't like it so I don't do it anymore. I write as you are doing, letting out, I cried, I hurt, it was so dark...But I came out of it Ed, do you know why? Because so many people loved me and I owed them more than a sad face. So I pretended for awhile for it was such a new feeling and eventually I actually laughed a real laugh Ed. You give so much of yourself in your writes, funny, touching, loving writes. We love you, we love your heart. Don't let the negative in my friend for it can take hold. Keep hoping, keep writing, keep loving Rufuz, keep going to your mother ocean. YOU WILL HEAR ABOUT A JOB, A GOOD ONE. KEEP BELIEVING, THAT'S THE TRICK ED. YOU'VE GOT TO TRUST AND BELIEVE AND IT WILL COME!
