Most people seem to think,
That I shouldn’t be alone on a holiday,
Frankly, and I apologize to those I love,
But that line of thinking to me does stink…
Wherever you are, if you are not there,
Then you ain’t anyplace or anywhere,
Christmas & such is just another day,
For Rufuz & I to have fun, relax or play…
I’ve been alone so many years past,
That I have really developed for myself,
An overcoat of steel reinforced cement cast,
I have my days like everyone else,
But in reality I am okay all alone,

My Lady Friend, Pat, and I had a good quiet evening at my trailer Xmas Eve, and enjoyed 2 good movies, and other 'stuff' - and yesterday was spent with my family and a great dinner - then, a MAD RUSH to her daughter's in the evening for a surprise - her son & his fiance' were here from TEXAS, which she didn't know about.
She has 3 local grand-children and 2 semis - but I have none. So, I enjoy my SOLITUDE IMMENSELY! Peace & Quiet promote Thinking, Writing, and Total Relaxation -
ERGO - IT IS GOOD! ES VERDAD?
In 5 days, ole Father Time will be replaced by the cute lil Newborn - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

On the other hand these *itches sure feel good hugging and kissing and constantly refilling my food tray.

You are not wrong, you're so right. Being alone does not mean being lonely, and yes, one can be with a lot of people but be lonely inside. Great wisdom here.
