If for no other reason than itself,
I find pushed am I by myself,
Will what I write ever be taken more than light,
Noticed by others at the mere sight,
Like an artist who paints on canvas,
Will someone some day to another say,
There is a work of art by a poet,
One that has within a little writers elf…

For the mere thought of losing my sanity,
I don’t however write for that of my vanity,
I write for the self, not for the masses,
I do so because I do of the write love,
Surely it does fit like the proverbial glove,
I write to learn & have learned from the write,
How would I express myself if not in this way quite right…?

I sit naked (when its warm enough),
Staring at a blank “canvas” of my own,
An erection I get till I have an orgasm of words,
Plastered they are all over this my canvas, my computer screen,
When I get orgasmic with words, in pleasure I do scream,
For all the words, all the rhymes, all the moments in time,
I scream & scream allowing to exit from my mind,
Words that cause within me steam, ejaculated in a white hot stream…
Well you keep on writting Ed for all or any reason because we enjoy it. However if I tried writting naked I am not sure that anyone would want to read my words and then maybe they would. Thanks for sharing Ed.
