Traveling the universe in search,
Of creatures not unlike ourselves,
Signals we transmitted into deep space,
As in that general direction our ships hurled…
Records now of our past,
Only serve to relate our last,
Our world did die oh so fast,
Our planet did avoid its final blast,
But too late, our population had all since passed…
We conquered light speed X ten,
Never our galaxy did we see again,
On our flight we did discover more human men,
But we were the last of a dying breed,
Our ship was burned up in a sun gone nova,
Trying times ten to exceed…

Keep it up, and you'll be, an other Roddenberry, this is good pseudo science, but then so is everything else. Loved it man!
Ten times the light speed will never stop you to go by other galaxies where more intelligent and peaceful people may reside, althout you will never know, you are going too fast.

With the global warming and the icebergs that are melting away from the Antartic, I think we will all die from drowning even before the final blast. Perhaps many billions of years from now, the earth will be just one big water globe in the universe with sunken lands.
