Poem Artwork

Hibernating maybe disagreeable to some,

Hiding away in my shoebox or sardine can,

Eight feet at its widest point,

Thirty four feet from nose to tail end,

Answering to no one, nagged by none…

No one, it seems, does of me call,

The only time I do to the outside crawl,

Is to walk the dog, a necessity for us all…

When the weather outside is frightful,

We stay dry, warm or cool, no bull,

We eat, we drink, we are entertained,

We are each others companions,

On this subject I feel I have to you enough explained…

You're not alone when you write, and we like what you write.
Stay safe and warm. Nice poem.

Nothing make more happy than when you are happy, and that goes for Rufuz too, because as the going says, "if Ma is happy everybody's happy" and I suspect you took a bath and told it Ma (she is proud impossible because of it)

ED - just read this and was going to CALL - just to make you surprised -

but, looked at the clock - 11 pm - too late - WHY?

'CAUSE A LITTLE OLE LADY LIKE YOU IS PROBABLY IN BED SNORIN' ALREADY!

maybe tomorrow, after work/ we'll see!

my lil box is 344 feet bigger, but still my castle, just like urine!

just got a letter from my local landlady BITCH - warning to mow my lawn!

she's the ONLY stress factor here at my park - thank GOD!

LATER - GATOR ... TK

so, you are happy in your oyster--what more could one ask for?

As long as you're happy, then that's alright by me! I do worry about you sometimes, though! Know I care!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

Ed, don't need to explain. You do what you do, as do we all - why do some have to butt into others' lives? Concur with Bear (below) - be happy with yourself. Keep on keepin' on.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Hi Ed, Why do people have this need to explain themselves? You don't have to explain yourself.. just be who you are with who you're with wherever you're at and stay happy... Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.. and even then, don't have to explain yourself.... :]

Bear

No need to explain or apologize for your chosen lifestyle, Brother - just keep dear old Ma and dear old Rufuz happy - and take a nice hot bath once in awhile!!
