Ed Matlack antisocial??? I think not. Just wanting some quiet time for yourself and Rufuz does not translate to antisocial, dear friend! For me, Summertime is Hybernating time...in my cool space and out of the heat. Nothing wrong with that...enjoying yourself. Great 4th for you and Rufuz!!

So, does this mean that you're not coming to our soiree? This is a fine time to RSVP...and via a poem to the whole world, no less. Sorry you're going to miss out on all the broiled lobster tails and filet mignon. We even booked Waylon Jennings for the shindig because we knew he was your favorite musician. And I don't mind telling you that that cost a pretty penny! And I don't even like his music unless I'm drunk, and you know very well that I'm on the wagon again. You should see the cute little poodle that Sally and Bob adopted just so Woofie would have a date for the occasion. Well, I gotta go catch the lobsters and shoot the old angus...I'm going miss him, even if he did break my arm when I tried to milk him before I realized that he was a he.

Happy Independence Day, anyway, old buddy!! May the Lord's blessings be dumped on you by the truckload today!!
