Many fears though i know, I don't know the half of them, Still within they rapidly grow. e

I know I have fears, I know what they are, But I cannot explain them to you, As they exist away too far… Fears exist for all whom does this read, They are there, right behind you, next to me, In the dark they do fly above across the sky, In the light all around us they are, We cannot see them, till upon us they pounce… Sounds in the dark, visions peripherally, Shadows that cannot on be focused, Memories that only exist in the mind, Only are those that are seen by the blind… © ed ? 7/8/09

The fear of the unknown drives most fears, the what might happen? That's why I don't like storms (but am trying to confront the beast on its own turf, have no choice living in Texas), closed in places, and spiders - add fireants to the mix, got CHEWED last night by 'em while weeding. Very deep write and when I thought about it I had to agree, it is not the fears that we know about such as snakes, fire, drowning etc that bothers us the most. It is the unknown fears that we feel lurking in the backs of our minds and the bottom of our hearts. Great write my friend.

Fear, the one you have waiting for the chopper to arrive and take the wounded before is too late. Fear, the one you feel one night when you realize that out there are seven billion people smiling at each other and yet, you are alone. Fear, the one one that gripes your heart when a friend dies.
Ed, you have touched the emotional literary deeps with this one.
