A world devoid of man, A world without any creatures, A world barren of life & love, A world stricken with only pain, No more teachers or preachers, A world with no more colorful features… We have lost our ability to be human, We have lost the direction in which we did head, Profit & gain is our only goal, Not even of our God do most anymore extol… Kill or be killed seems to be our life’s destination, Creating for those of us that DO care, frustration, Give in we do to multitudinous temptation, Failing in our lives & our loves most horribly, Waiting for our eventual termination… © ed ~ 5/2/10

A world stricken with only pain

We no longer have to imagine such a world; our oil-riddled Gulf Coast is experiencing it, right now. And it could be heading your way, soon.
