In your reviews, if you will, let us all know what specifically you miss about Georg...it may help in all our healing of his loss...

Poem Artwork

Like a brother was he,

His own style had he,

Loved him did we,

Miss his fun do we…

All here do miss him,

All here do as well love him,

Prayers from all here go out to him…

Passed on knowledge did he,

Compassionate soul was he,

If passed on did he,

With God & Jesus now is he…

We all knew a fellow named Georg
Ahead he helped us to forge
We enjoyed his wit
Every little bit
Though it might have hailed from Norge

Wherever you are, Georg; you know were thinking of you. And thanks for the reminder, Ed. Love and peace,

Regis

May Goerg's absence mean he is rocovering his health and strength.
What humor he has brought to this Den, and his reviews/comments have always been encouraging. I think of Georg as a Poetic Warrior...and a friend.
Blessings and Love to Him...and you, Ed - Micke

I love that he served his country. I pray he's not gone home, like so many of his fellow soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines have. But if so: at ease, Marine. You've earned your rest. If not, hurry back to us. You are missed, each and every day. :( And I love his words, his reviews, his humor, his deep abiding passion.

(((HUGS))) love and continued prayer, Karla. *tears*

OK friends, have you not internalized his beautiful poems, the gift of his mind and compassion, where would he be always, but with us, you must feel him next to you, dont you, surely, I mean he was a great poet angel in our circle, have we not laughted, and cried tears with him. Now I ask of you to acknowledge him in your thoughts especially when you write, please, you would'nt want him to be lonely and missing in action, wherever he is, here or there, soon all of us will either be here, or there, right? Just don't forget him, keep on loving him, I know I will, Bless you all! Jasmin Horst

I have cried my many tears but they do still sneak up on me at times. Georg is a man of greatness, his intellect, his artistic gifts but most of all his honest compassion. I miss him more than I can tell, he has been a true and dependable friend whom I will always love. If he is still on this shore or the next I hope he feels our continuing love.

Ed,
I feel like he is gone forever..This is just not like him to not give us a sign that he is okay. If he isn't passed on, then he must be in a state that he cannot communicate..I am so destressed over this, the not knowing is what is so awful..

I will answer your question,

What I miss most about Georg, is his kindness and love but most of all his sense of humor and the connection that he and I have with our Native American writings.
He is so missed and I truly love him like a brother.

Much peace, love and light,
Amber

I miss his reviews too, and especially his writing! :( I do hope he comes back soon, and if not, I will never forget him! Such a huge loss for AD!

((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Texas, Karen Lynn. :( *tears!*

Your poem here is the gesture of a true friend.
Honest, there are no obituaries for him anywhere, i just looked all over the internet. I feel hopeful for his return. I had just come on AD when he became ill, but we had chats about Pablo Casals and I do very much look forward to his return.
Blessings,
Christine

Alas, we still don't know his current status:

Last message from him, mid July;
Last message from his spouse, mid August;
Last time I called his hospital, they said he went home.

Nothing since the end of August, and neither he nor his spouse answer their e-mails.

All here do miss him,
All here do as well love him,
Prayers from all here go out to him…
