And that would be my little writers elf...

Poem Artwork

Why must I write with thought,

In the wee hours of the morning,

Usually when my brain is asleep,

You’d think that that time I’d write cheap…

But, no, I seem to then find my philosophical self,

When my muse is still sleeping,

Does come out then is my lil’ writers elf…

Drag myself out of bed & turn on the light,

Then for an hour or so I seemingly MUST write,

My sleep schedule all screwed up,

My rem dreams all screwy for the rest of the night…

Am I herein alone,

Doubt this, I do,

How many times is this you,

Writing very early in the morning,

Could it be sometimes a kind of forewarning…?

Sleeping all day because of the doobie, I would imagine is the reason you wake at night to write.

I finally got around to commenting. Rough day.

I wrote about 700 of my poems between 3 and 4 AM in the morning. My pee pee call. You are a fine poet at any hour.

Transcendental Sojourn-Arrival to One Journal by Liz Cosline

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
