Poem Artwork

I finally live at home with my Mommy,

She takes good care of me & my barn mate,

We’ve been living in other horse farms,

For the past few years, but I like my new barn,

I have a big stall where I can lay down,

Both me & Speccy think this place is great…

I can see Mommies bedroom from my window,

And she can see me with my head out when she awakens,

We have thirteen acres to roam and eat of the grass,

Boy the fun we will have when Mom starts to ride,

That will be the best times, yea, it will be a livin’ gas…

Mom has wanted me to live with her since first we met,

Sooner or later she does always what she wants get,

So Mommy there is no more need to ever fret,

I am here to take care of you, & that I don’t want you to ever forget…

Very nice, Ed, and I hope it is a true poem. Horses are special, a little high strung sometimes, but intelligent and quick to learn what mommy expects of them.
