I am having trouble getting past this right now, please bear with me...

Poem Artwork

The antidepressants not working,

I’m just kidding myself, life will never work,

Death seems to be at my door lurking,

Perhaps I should go with him,

I hate being alive, alone,

Locked in my self made cell,

Five o’clock in the morning,

My mind giving me warning,

Not even writing giving me relief,

Death is of life a thief…

Bearing with you Ed, even if the writing doesn't
help it shows you are willing to reach out to everyone
you know who cares!

Recognize this as a slump you are in and an understandable one...
Even the healthiest of souls this time of year can feel it...
Just don't dwell on it, rumination only takes your feelings
deeper into the abyss of these blues...

Hugs darlin' you will be okay

Love and Light
Lily

Don't you dare do anything stupid, Ed. If you even mention it again, I'm coming right down there and kicking your butt all over Jersey. You have alot of friends here in the Den and don't you forget that.
Let go and let God. You'll be amazed at what He can do if you'll just talk to Him, believe and behave. ;-) I'm talking from experience my friend and you know it. Remember; I was a walking dead man just 12 years ago. He helped me turn that aroiund and gave me a whole new life and a whole new outlook, too. Just trust in God, Ed. And talk to Him.

Excellent poetry for a guy hoping for death. We all get anxious and if your health is not good it clouds your reasoning. But remember to pray that God will welcome you home if you give him a chance.

You've got cabin fever! Wait until the nice weather gets here. You'll be basking in the sun with a nice doobie.

Love ya!

Jane
