Just a bit of rambling; the picture has NOTHING to do with this write, though I thought it was a pretty cool shot...

Poem Artwork

Fell asleep at 10,

Couldn’t keep my eyes open,

Awake at one,

My stomach not fun,

As well thunder in the distance,

Rain on the roof,

A cooler breeze through the window,

The wind blowing across my naked chest,

The storm has arrived,

Likely will be awake till five,

But love the smell of the spring rain,

With it cooler temperatures,

The heat yesterday did on me put a strain,

Just rambling now, like the many raindrops that fall,

Glad I still have around me a roof and four walls…J

... Perhaps the cooler weather and balmy rains will quell your rumbling tum, Ed. Gratitude is a great gift and to have four walls and a roof - and a joy in nature - makes us still among the world's most blessed. xx

“Into every life a little rain must fall.” Glad that you can still find solace in the little things like spring rain. Washes the mind clean and invigorates the soul.

There is nothing more lovely than a spring rain...
the fresh smells in the air, a bit of thunder and lightening
in the distance, so much to be thankful for...
Even to be awake to take it all in is wonderful... I would too!

Sounds wonderful, although insomnia can be a bummer. Love those rains and cool fronts at this time of the year.

We are still experiencing a cool Spring and I love it. Heat and high humidity are what air conditioners were made for and I use one all Summer or I'd be dead. Your last sentence is the key and may God bless you with better health.

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
