To the shore today I went,

A needed day to vent,

As well to see the sea,

Yes it was still there,

As well, hot & humid was the air…J

I walked into the water just a bit,

Not too bad, warm enough to swim,

But knew if I jumped in,

That first shot would have been nuts,

As well my cell phone would not have survived,

When a cell phone gets wet, it’s hard to revive…J

But twas a nice day nonetheless,

Worked at my friends store for a couple hours,

Just lugging boxes and puttin’ up with his jive,

He is my bestest friend & I love him dearly,

But damn if he can’t be the weirdest guy alive…J
