Cave living...

I live in a cave, I am just a slave, To my own idiosyncrasies, I am just one of the many senior crazies, I am but me, myself & I, I can’t tell you exactly why… My mind a bore, Right down to its very core, Within myself I look for more, But it does not seem to exist, Do I really live, I know not, I truly find it hard to with others coexist… If not for writing & reading, I would be much more needing, I don’t want to be herein misleading, I just want you to understand this my pleadings, To you I do plead misunderstanding, Mayhaps you can help me reintegrate into society, Help me in my, so to speak, emergency landing… © -me- 8/20/14

It's not just you, Ed. I have spoken to many people who are preferring solitude to coexistence more and more - I am also one such person. I find a great many people are taxing to be around.. I have a feeling it happens when our goals change - When we no longer want or need to be part of the rat-race.
