Very little do humans seem to have cognizance,
All they seem to care about is dominance,
None that I find seem to have prominence…
Bomb blasts from those who create terror,
Of life children are seemingly taught by trial & error,
They see so much killing & death in the daily news,
That it seems to ruin their future views..
You need to get out more… And I don't mean to the latest casino! Whenever I go to places where kids are… The last place was the Houston Zoo near Halloween with all the kids dressed up in costumes. I find a lot of happy, well-adjusted, and engaging children. I don't think the world is as shown on the daily news. It's much better than that, and only in getting out into that world can one find out.
Even back to the cavemen age, men has been fighting each other...if not for the reason of food it's for reasons of others. Nothing has ever changed. The more advanced the society is the less caring and more violence. It's the power plays in between nations. Religions seems to have been the main cause of most wars. It would have been nice if all nations are under one God, but we all know it's only wishful thinking. Nothing has changed, and it will less likely to ever change in the future. Sad!!!
Man has always killed man. I don't think it's any worse now than in the past. It's just that we are bombarded with news and info 24/7. It comes to a point where we become desensitised to the horrors of mankind.
