From Germany & Ireland the family did of that name became,
Not far back does anyone go with a name that’s the same…
My grandfather was in the first world war,
My dad did participate in the second,
Since then no one found it necessary to go to war,
Except when my parents did argue, that was a major fare of war…
Sounds like your Tree has lots of Crazy Cousin Branches, who know you very well!

I just found out that I'm a mixture of Scottish, English, German,
Dutch and a few more. It is your family history ED and you never know who is hiding in your closet....
Many years ago, I accidentally backed into a tanker truck that had, in big letters, Matlack, painted on the side. When I called them up about damages, I found out they were a New Jersey company.
Somewhere along the line, one of your ancestors jumped off the family tree and started a successful trucking company in your backyard. If you did some digging and found out your connection, you might be entitled to a big inheritance. Wouldn't that tickle your…!
Eh . . . Maybe all of us who have a strange family tree should get together and get snot-slinging drunk. Eh . . . Wouldn't solve anything, probably make it worse, but what the hell . . .
