A little tidbit from the recesses of my burned out mind...

Warm in winter, Cool in summer, Trying to live like a winner, Failing is such a bummer… Pausing to take a breath, Living in the moment, No longer hooked on meth, From the gods life is sent… Short though it may be, The mind gives it constraint, Nothing is needed but a key, The body while getting older brings about restraint… © -ed- 8/8/15

That line about, "No longer hooked on meth," really got my attention. What you are admitting in the late night is, that you have finally reached an age where you won't go back to stupid behavior like that in your quest for self-destruction.
