Questioning the self...

Is it psychological, Is it maybe insanity, Or could it be a form of profanity, Or possibly it could be some kind of vanity… But onward I do read, Until maybe I figure out who did the dirty deed, Or maybe it’s within me a need, I of the fifth do plead… My mind can only of the book think, Maybe I do in reality need a shrink, I read & read without thought of anything, But the very next page, not bathing though I stink, I think that maybe on the edge I might be, Just about am I of my sanity on the brink… © -ed- 8/10/15

I see you have a King book there. This is one of the few that I don't own. Just because I like the hell out of many of his works doesn't mean that I love all of his works. Just like any author we have certain works of theirs that stand out from the rest. Just sayin'.

I give a book forty pages, if it hasn't "grabbed" me by then. I close the cover forever.
