I will never forget Rufuz...

If you were still here, Nothing would I fear, My mind would be clear, And then I would be happy because you’re near… My puppy, my muppy, my stinky dog, You’ve been gone too many years, You’d be quite old if alive you still were, I hope you are happy wherever you exist, My thoughts about you will forever persist… © -ed, for Rufuz- 8/31/15

Rufus played a big part in your life. I was sad when he had to go away.

I remember you and Rufuz. You and him had found so much joy in each othrr's compny. Much like our former cat, Freddy and our kids, he and our kids grew up together. Freddy lived for 16 years, and to this date his urn and his picture is still sitting in our front room, never to be forgotten. He was part of our lives and memories.

They never leave our thoughts do they - There will never be any human friend to match them. I'm told that they will be there to greet us on a rainbow bridge when our turn comes ...and while I'm a pretty level-headed sort, I really hope it's true. x
