Empty minded of late, bear with me, my ability to even comment has been lost...

Poem Artwork

I wish to write something of interest,
A spellbinder of murder or intrigue,
But my mind is a blank of late,
Maybe so many I’ve penned is the reason for this fate…

Used to be so damn easy,
See a picture I like & whip out a poem,
Go to the beach and there find a catalyst,
I seem to becoming almost as boring as a philatelist…

My mind a vacuum,
Possibly from so long in a chatroom,
Maybe with the incoming heat,
I will experience an exothermic reaction,
Giving my minds wheels & cranks some thoughtful traction.

You wrote this with no problem it seems. And your wit shines through..
I don't find a problem, ED!

Ed M. , At least you are thinking about your thinking, sometimes the mind needs a little break.
I sometimes have to wait till I have insomnia and stuff just comes to me, really strange. The better rested I am, the less I write it seems, wierd I know.

A bit of "writers block" perhaps? Your writing has been getting more and more thought provoking. Maybe you are going through a metamorphosis just like a caterpillar becoming a beautiful butterfly!!

Love ya!

Just don't let your brains boil in this heat. Your poetry has become much more thoughtful and much less complaining recently. Much appreciated.

My mind is a blank of late as well...wasn't much there to work with from the start. Oh, I've had three or four recently that I can lay claim to, but that's about the extent of it. I love to write, but coming up with ideas is a bummer. In the days ahead, may your mind be filled with a bounty of spellbinding ideas.

Eh . . . You caused me to look up two words that I didn't know existed until today. That is something in your favor, Ed . . .
