No rhyme or reason to this one, came to me in a dream, I seem to be getting crazier in my old age...:)

After the end of the world, The world then took a breath, Then we all took a big dump, Some in the woods, but then carried it out, After radiation, the oceans were then clean, Exactly as I pictured the worlds final scene. The world had a drink, The Chinese, rice wine, The Russians, vodka, The Germans, beer, *The English teetotalers* tea, And the Americans a little bit of everything mixed with brine. The polar caps have melted, More fluid to drink & bathe in, More H2O to go with the flow, More rushing rapids to drown in, More lakes and streams to in fish, More water covering the previous green earth, This could be coming true from a wish. © /ed\ 9/1/19**

Your words describe a "coming faster than we think" planet. Let's hope we don't get washed away! Interesting poem, Ed.

You are a bit all over the place with this one. But more polluted water isn't a good thing. Nor is widespread radiation. Although it might make genetic mutation go on steroids, creating all kinds of wild new fauna and flora.

Your last line speaks of a "wish." Is this what you wish for? Or just dream?

BTW. You probably are getting crazier but you haven't reached old age yet.

As it is, we are nothing more than a virus, and the earth's immune system is kicking in. As George Carlin once said, the earth isn't going away, we are.
