No one, logically, can ascertain what will be...
Nor how this world will fall...

            "EXPECTATIONS"

No one, logically, can ascertain what will be;
Nor how this world will fall
What will be its defeat, its demise?
No longer can we alter our paths
To not endanger the species
For no routes are guarded by soldiers of influences

Enlisted for cause, they beget no losing valor
But stand up for youthful vigor but not for enduring values.

What shall we look for - these days of shocking morals
Except for lonely vigils by long sufferers
There is naught but greed beyond the hedge of wealth
Artificially inseminated, lines are punctured with fear.

Caught up in embarrassing moment of off-color shades
Not to be out done by that mode, all are erasing bits & pieces
To puzzle out a destiny not heard of since time began.

So where is the search leading?
What will become of our heritage?
When is the mechanism set to react?

Nor should we know...

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
