Thank the gods for this place to expel all these thoughts...

Pale hands that bother not the reeds

Drift and slide o'er fruited eaves of Nature

Avid for learning, searching, searching.

Betrothed to none, but allowed a spouse

Lost to man, akin to the gods

Stretching for heaven - short in strength.

An outer relation to reverance - yet beyond calculation.

Wisdom in the throes of illiteracy.

Fired by unseen forces, but unable to extol

Over and over they plan the hopeless theme.

A world to see fearfully.

An occasion of glory - a release of energies.

Frought with confusion - alone in ideals.

Workings of outer space - interlaced with earthly spice

Thinking, thinking - wrestling, turning, twisting.

Deep-seated inspiration doled out greedily.

Expression with suppression.

Gone - and then again apparent.

What causes this mirage?

I find your metaphors crisp and original. Not sure of what the overall shape is, ie the theme? Another title might clue one in?

In Search of Truth and Freedom; A Path from Ignorance to Awareness by Dietmar Rothe

A scientist/philosopher explores the mysteries of existence in a highly personal quest for answers to life's ultimate questions, forging a bridge between sterile science and spiritual values -- a scholarly work for all who seek wisdom, truth, true fr

Transcendental Sojourn-Arrival to One Journal by Liz Cosline

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
