Another poem by Rufuz, my daddys having a "writers block" (he explained it to me, but I guess I just got a block of my own)...

“I MISS MY MOMMY” (Hi, Rufuz here again, daddy’s having what he calls a “writers block” and its up to me to keep on typing…darn these keys, wish he would leave my keyboard alone…) I don’t get to see my mommy very often anymore, She used to visit us all the time, Now she never sees us unless we go to see her, She doesn’t like us anymore, what did I do? I am only a dog, not a smart human, maybe you can explain? What did I do? If I was bad, I am sorry, If I did something and can’t remember, I am sorry for that too, But please, Mommy, please come see me… I miss you so! I miss the treats, I miss the walks I miss the long talks…(I understand more than you know) I miss it when we go to the beach, Even if I have to wear a leash, Please come back, mommy, I miss you so! (rufuz)

I do hope Rufuz, ( who is adorable ) can woo her with his sorrowful bay.
Duchess thinks he has a good chance, but keep it up, perhaps send a nice smelly bone as well :)

this made me cry--what a heartfelt, beautiful write

pets understand much more than what their owners give them credit for--dogs (and i know you hate it when i say this, but cats, too) are a hell of a lot smarter than humans AND A WHOLE LOT NICER

despite the ill treatment and ignorance on the part of humans, you still give unconditional love, and when someone truly loves and takes care of you, and they're suddenly gone...you miss that

"...please come back, mommy, i miss you so!" (((HUGS))) this line really got to me

i will always keep you and your owner (ed) in my thoughts and prayers--if you need to talk, e-mail me

Thanks for a wonderful poem. I am also a pet lover -- 4 dogs and a cat and I always wonder what they're thinking!

Pets are people too. They have feelings just like us. I can relate to this poem. One of our childhood pet named "Lucky" - a German Shepherd - had ran away from us to look for my uncle when my uncle went to Brazil. Even we gave it the best of care, she still left us to look for my uncle.

Hope this is only fictional, and Rufus will feel better soon.
