Reclusiveness

Rambling again...I'm afraid, :)

                                     “RECLUSIVENESS”

Why do those I know call me reclusive?

               Is it possible I am?

Or is it just that I am just so full of myself?

Is that it, oh friends of mine?

No, I happen to know for a fact that I am fine,

Not vain nor put offish as far as I can find.

Maybe you can put it another way, find another vein,

To push in the needle containing the antibiotic of knowledge,

To maybe help me to see the same as thine.

I am here to tell you, dear reader, that I am not reclusive in any

          sense of any word,

I just value, with all due respect of others, my privacy,

I wish for them the same consideration that I afford

          the self in these matters.

Could I be mistaken or without intelligence here?

Or am I just rambling on with no visible direction or destination?

And this maybe the case here, as I have done so in the past…

Ed,

A good write. I believe you have just described the personality of a writer. That's why we write. We like what goes on inside our heads and we have to write it down. Thank, you for stopping by to read mine. It's nice to make new friends at AuthorsDen.

We all have a part of "reclusiveness" in us, insane or otherwise. And we should all be aware--it does sneak up on us, sometimes too often. I like the way your words flow . . . b
