Cable TV

Questions to the self or is it talking to the self, which is worse, or not...?

“CABLE TV”

Not antenna I speak of today,

But cable T.V., once thought of by me,

To be only good for the stable,

But since then I changed that rhyme,

To believe I also changed my mind.

I really like to have it in my motor home,

As it really gives me multitudinous channels,

Not that there is much on the tube nowadays,

But still, I have many stations which to roam.

The expense seems too high,

Lower for the satellite,

Spending of money always makes me sigh,

But each and every year it seems to be getting

  'outta site!

Should I keep it another month, I ask myself?

Or do I use the free install for the dish?

I may, in fact, be better off without either,

Just take up a new hobby, like, to fish!

Kind of a Love Hate relationship. heh. Can't live with it, can't live without it? Fishing seems very solitary. With cable you can watch a show on fly fishing? You can learn how to di it! Or, you can take up fishing and bring a tiny tv along so you can watch the game? no nope...oh well... ya can't fish all day.

Cable tv...either a curse or a blessing. In my case, it's both. I don't like paying for channels we don't even watch (like, for instance, the SPANISH channels or C-SPAN!! BORING!!! LOL)! I wish we had "select cable", like they did back in Ohio; that I can live with! LOL Good write, Ed; enjoyed!~ (((HUGS))) to you, and (((HUGS))) to the Rufster; love you both! Your Texas friend, Karen Lynn. :D
