Darkness Pervading My Very Being

Not sure where this came from, felt like writing something different & geez it is different!

“DARKNESS PERVADING MY VERY BEING”

Yes, you’ve read right,

Darkness completely & totally pervading every part of me,

Seems some creature of darkness has invaded my being,

Will that darkness overtake all that I am?

Am I to be permanently misused by this creature of the dark?

I know so far that no part of me has been abused,

At least as far as I know,

As I am feeling very much like a crying child right now.

Not that crying will hurt,

But the creature is more readily able to exert,

More control & I must remain alert,

To its constant power over me,

So personal harm I can avert.

What brought this dark creature to invade my senses?

Did it come from the fact that I have recently acquired new lenses?

It is only common sense for me to question,

But this creature denies culpability,

As it takes over every part and parcel of my very being.

OH god, take it away,

I can feel it, slithering through my intestines,

Heading north, towards my brain,

Can I stop it? Yes, I hear from myself,

But how?

I must keep track of its movements,

As it invades each and every artery, vein and capillary,

It spreads like a virus, only faster.

What medication will I dispense to annihilate it?

Will I have to kill the host?

To fully feel its effects dissipate,

But what sense does that make?

If I kill myself, its effects won’t matter,

I will be dead and the creature will scatter to invade another being...

What you write is a feeling that is not a stranger to a lot of us--Speak to God--the dark creature has a problem there! But be careful not to give in to the darkness--keep focused on the light. b
