Can’t remember the 60’s?

Then that’s a good sign,

As if you could,

You weren’t really there…

Woodstock, Haight-Ashbury, Monterey, Isle of Wite,

All names from the 60’s so well known,

Hendrix, Dylan, the Dead, Stones, Who, Joplin,

All rock icons, starting in the 60’s,

Some now dead, some near, some should be,

No matter, the 60’s itself are past,

What a shame, what a loss…

Values learned way back then,

Lost on a new generation,

That seems bent on violence,

Music no longer has soul,

Oh to bring it back,

Like that of clothing styles,

Would complete the circle,

And again make this country & the world,

            WHOLE…
