“TUG & NUGGET”

Both dogs of class,

Both dogs doing their own thing.

Tug likes to eat underwear,

He will fight for any toy,

Pull and pull and growl,

Wrestle till a person can’t wrestle anymore,

Hence his name,

But doesn’t seem to like the water,

Unusual for the type of dog he is,

But still he is the best boy,

And his humans love him oh so royally.

Nugget unfortunately passed on,

Went to the place where all dogs go,

But will see his humans once again,

When each of them, in far future, hopefully,

Pass over the Rainbow Bridge, amen.

I have only seen both dogs a few times,

Each and every one they showed love,

Rufuz never met Nugget,

And Tug doesn’t play well with others,

Or so I am told by his humans, my friends,

But then again, Rufuz doesn’t share well,

So meeting Tug may not be a good idea,

But as always, we never know, so time will tell…      (ed)
