THIRD STRIKE…

Does anyone else believe in,

Forces beyond our control?

Something happens three times,

Do we believe it is a sign or?

Do we just brush it off?

Or do we think, three times and you’re out, like me?

An example might be, trying to fix a car, Keep getting wrong part,

The third try, and I stop trying,

Taking the car to a mechanic,

Another example is, and the reason for this rant,

I bought a copy of a movie, it broke the night I bought it,

I then rented a copy of the same movie, it broke in the machine,

Just as did the last one, if it happens again, I will never see that movie,

My belief being, I was not meant to see the movie…

Am I paranoid, schizophrenic, manic depressive, Bi-polar or just plain nuts?

Or do I raise a point, that even this old futz can’t explain…?

PS: The movie was Dreamcatcher, by Stephen King, loved the book.
