A Plate of Predictable Paranoia...

How do I know all the members of this site exist, or are not just one person?
How do you know the same?

A plate of predictable paranoia…

(kinda like angel hair pasta of the mind)

Are you there?

am I here?

are you who you say?

am I who I think?

just cause I see your picture, read your comments,

does that necessarily prove you exist?

exist to me that is, let alone yourself?

I could be living in a world bereft of all human life,

as could you all, that is to assume, you all exist,

beyond that of this site,

for if you don’t who the hell am I writing too?

where am I , where are you?

what am I, what are you, too?

am I weird, definitely, but are you weird too?

again, definitely, anyone who writes has got to be.

is there a camera inside this computer?

looking back at me, watching me, spying on me?

is this my life, do I have a life, maybe in reality,

I just need a wife, someone to make me feel,

I am me, you are you, this is life and this is real…

Ed, what's at my site is me. I'm not hiding anything. I tell the truth.

all we can really know is the matrix of the poetry being written ... as far as being weird, that's what makes us special ...

Am I Kate the writer with a heart, or is Kate the serial killer really the truth of who I am? hehehehehehe

You walked into this one :-)

Seriously I think we all wonder who we ware speaking to when on the internet. One guy I meet from the Internet story will make a perfect romance/horror story in the future for me to write about, but I have also met, in person, a few others that are now all part of my soul family. You just have to take a chance :-) In public of course :-)

Ed, by golly, you've hit on one of my favorite mind-bogglers.

What if - you have created all of this in your mind - and none of us exist - but at your whim. You are really unconcious, hooked up to tubes, imagining all of this in your head. Sort of a Matrix like existence.

A Twilight Zone thought that I badger my wife with all the time.
This is a good one!

Hey Ed, you already smokin' wacky tobakki this early in the morning--is that why the paranoia? I think you're right--most or all writers are weird. And you're not the only one who feels this way about cyberspace--I feel the same way. There's something about it that doesn't feel real.

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
