Overused & Over-Abused...

If as a kid, I could have changed my ways...would I feel better now?
Or is this just a natural aging process...?

(at fifty everyone has the face he deserves...george orwell

OVERUSED & OVER-ABUSED…

World of strife,

tears apart our life,

living without a loving wife,

life’s changes are ever so rife,

change is a constant, so don’t here gripe.

trying to write off this stress,

I find I cannot repress,

feelings of anger, feelings of shame,

feelings that I will never see or experience,

eternal life after death,

back to this world again, to live another life,

I strive in this one to end all bad karma,

sometimes I write, sometimes I cry,

sometimes I just scream and rant,

to dissipate the pain and strife within.

my life is not too bad, its been better, been worse,

I find no reason to continually about it curse,

but just sometimes, when I feel physically ill,

my mind does allow me to wander,

to check out the self, do I need to pay a bill?

a bill to the gods for all that I have overused,

this body, their temple, I have over abused…

I felt this Ed...you said it well and it's wonderful that you can get it out in writing! Being physically ill really does pull your thoughts down too, it's a vicious circle.
Take care

Ed this is so heartfelt...I for one do not want to come back here
Once around this world is enough for me...and it is easier to get
to heaven than you can imagine...at least in my faith it is....
Just believe....give your heart to Him...thats all....I felt this
poem...hope you are ok...floria
