I Had a Long Day Today…by Rufuz,

Today was a long day,

Glad daddy got to drive,

I was just so bushed after being me,

Barking at all the people getting near my car,

Saying hi to my brother Sinders & the other horses there…

Yes, we went to the barn, I got to see a puppy, so cute,

But he had his balls, and I don’t like that, so I attacked,

But Dad had me by the collar and growled at me,

I don’t like it when he growls at me, especially in front of others,

So embarrassing it is…

I also got to do something I really love,

Playing with my mommy, chasing and talking to her,

She plays really good, she must have had practice,

You don’t think she had a dog better than me, do ya?

But no matter, she makes me happy just being there,

As I know she does for daddy too, she is just so fair…

I am laying next to daddy now, he is typing what I am saying,

He is rubbing his eyes,

I know he is tired, he is such a great guy,

To write what I need to get out,

I wanted mommy to know just how much I love her,

And always will and always will miss her too,

She scratches me and my back and makes my fur,

Feel good and keeps me happy, oh yes sir…

So here I will end,

Daddy has had his fill,

Of typing tonight, I don’t want to him, kill,

So look for further writes from me, still,

As I am sometimes a better writer than daddy is,

*Excuse me Rufuz, but I am not letting you run down my writing, no, I will not scratch your belly, you just

said I don’t write well, and now you want what? No way, no way, I am not rubbing you there, oh, go lay down…*
