I get reflective when high, have to let the herb do the talking then...

TIS’ THE HERB TALKING…

May not have riches,

But we don’t dig any ditches,

Not to say that isn’t a noble trade,

Any job to make a living,

Is a place that is fit for giving,

For life is short, money the same,

We all play and play to win,

But this life is really nothing but a game,

One that is hard to win,

Hard to be anything but lame…

For if money is the root,

Then life is the reason,

We come here for every season,

We stay only because we must,

We live only to find trust,

And then there is love,

And faith we have to find as well,

Do we have the time, can we sell,

That which our lives can no longer tell…

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
