Leap frog day…

This year we have,

Another day to play,

One we get every fourth year,

Who do you suppose set this up?

How did they think of this?

“Hey, I got a funny idea, lets add an extra day,

To that of February, but only every fourth year”

“That should make the calendar makers pissed off…”

What do we do with this extra day?

Should we jump for joy, we have to work another day?

Our taxman has an extra day to do our taxes,

We can make one day extra of money, to pay the irs,

One more stinking day to feel the duress of being depressed…

So, here we are, will we notice this the next four years?

Will we see ourselves four years hence,

writing about the same things all over again?

Or will we all be dead, four years without an extra day,

Oh my what will I do, I have to get some shopping in,

Without that day I will not be able to find a dress…
