Are we ever really enlightened? If we say it does that mean we are? How do we know? I think we just go on and on, ad infinitum, whether we know we are or not, just keep moving on...
“ENLIGHTENMENT” To say you are enlightened, Is to say you are not, How long does it take? To cross the path to the other side, To the right side of enlightenment… When a “master” tells of his path, Is he showing us the way? Or just telling us of himself, For that matter, is there any such thing? As a master, a guru, a leader, a teacher, Are we not all just the same? All masters, gurus, leaders & teachers… Some are better versed in the arts of the correct path, Some have read more; some have read less, Which one of us is better than the other? If you say you’re better than me, or I do the same, Are we really or are we just fooling ourselves? Questions on my own path appear above, You have chosen your own path, to Christ, Buddha or Allah, I hope the path you have chosen is the right path, As it should be for you as you have chosen it,,, Peace thru the Write Path… © ed – 3/2/04

Great writing here Ed..I believe the path to
enlightenment is found with the heart...soul..
not with the head...very good insight here..

Ed I like it when you play with these kind of thoughts. Enlightenment in another can be witnessed and I believe not spoken. An Enlightened one would have no need to brag. It just is. We are all teachers and students at the same time. Those who have walked amoung us to share what they know have often in my opinion been misinterpertated. Remember it was Jesus who went flying into a rage tearing the gambling in a church apart and the riches. It was government of that time that called for his death, creating illusions to who he was. People were fooled then. People can be fooled now. Such is the life of mankind. Jesus was just a man who attempted to teach others how we could all do the very things he was doing. Now that would be scary to a government and to any of the religions that hold its people by self government. All religions hold a truth within in their stories. I believe it is true that it is up to us to learn these truths for ourselves and to be the best we can be as long as we are here. Jesus gained my respect when he admited that even he was confused by what he was being taught. He was after all, just a man and he knew that. His example of death was to show us that we would all live. When he said he would return, I believe he meant it in the same way I will return and you will return. We will all keep returning until we have completed our cycle. Opps I get yakky on this subject....
